Kitchen Replace vs Kitchen Respray

Considering a kitchen respray project or kitchen replace?

Usually, the kitchen is the single most expensive room to update, but it is possible to pull off a makeover by getting the kitchen cabinets resprayed and getting the new handles.

All wood cabinets can be repainted and the final result is absolutely new, where the units have a glossy or vinyl finish, the veneer can be removed for the paint to be gripped. Normally, in melamine kitchens, it is possible to remove the covertures and spray directly on MDF, obtaining a professional finish.

This professional process is called KRR (Kitchen Respray Restoration), an idea that emerged from the best finishers in Spain and Italy, two countries with the best professionals in wood and the best innovative techniques in paints for kitchen furniture.

Why Kitchen Respray?

There are many advantages of spraying before replacing kitchen. You save a lot of time and money, not works, no disturbances. The finish is professional and in just three days you will have new kitchen, no new design, keep the same space, the same environment but with totally new kitchen cabinets, get new handles and the change will be amazing.

Kitchen Respray or Hand paint?

Kitchen replace is a synonym of new kitchen. The main advantage of a spray finish over hand painting a kitchen is the polyurethane mix which makes the product much more resilient and long-wearing. The finish is also more flawless and factory-like, but some prefer the more rugged look of a hand-painted kitchen. Lastly, the process is much quicker as hand-painted layers and primer can take days to dry fully between coats. Cost wise, when you factor in the cost for paint and a painter, the outlay for both is similar.

Kitchen Respray Colour

We can literally colour match any shade a customer wants. Mostly we are asked to replicate colours from Farrow and Ball, Little Green and Colourtrend as well as from bigger brands like Dulux and Crown. When the customer picks their shade, we mock up a sample door in the chosen colour and finish, and I leave it with them for a few days to make sure they are 100 per cent happy.
